Southern Jamaica Plain Health Center is a clinic with great and exceptional doctors who are wonderful, gentle, caring, kind, understanding, extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and compassionate. The midwives are a wonderful team. The expertise and integrated approach to healthcare are unparalleled, facilitating connections with specialists for a seamless journey. The supporting staff and secretary go above and beyond, and the lab technician shows kindness and care. Everyone is polite and happy to see the patients. However, parking can be a bit of a nightmare, and the front staff can be pretty rude and unprofessional, sometimes taking a course in customer service. Despite this, the doctors are worth it, and patients are very happy to be seen and heard at this clinic. The experience is a true blessing, making a tremendous impact.
Dr. Jenifer Kasper is a great doctor. I highly recommend her , she is kind , understanding and extremely knowledgeable and helpful . Very informative and understanding of new parent jitters! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for my child when it comes to seeing her !
I can't express enough how exceptional my experience has been at Southern Jamaica Plain Health Center. Laura Osmond Marcus, MD is truly a gem; her expertise and compassion are unparalleled. Her secretary and the entire supporting staff go above and beyond to make each visit comfortable and efficient.
The lab technician deserves special mention for her kindness and care in handling patients; it's genuinely heartwarming.

I love and truly adore Dr. Oldshue. What a wonderful, gentle and caring doctor let alone human being. His words of encouragement as new parents have been so refreshing. Always asking and making sure we are doing well not only physically but mentally too. Our family loves coming to see him. Even though parking can be a bit of a nightmare we drive a good distance away just to be seen by Dr. Oldshue. Front staff can take a course in customer service though. They can be pretty rude and unprofessional. I always recommend SJPHC though because the doctors ARE great and going to them is worth all the other negative stuff like parking and front desk staffing.
