The day arrived, the work began: a few days of sanding, a few coats of polyurethane - done early in the day so we could walk on the floors by evening. Every day they arrived on time, and at the end of each day, they cleaned up well. All commitments were met and more: they filled carpet nail holes, repaired gouges and chips, took nicks out of the stair tread edges, and sanded away black-stained areas where the old finish had worn off.
