“I can't overstate how professional and honest Major Home Improvements is. They did a great job putting a roof on my house, and were able to get out more quickly than any of the other companies I called. That said, of course you don't notice any challenges or loose ends until the first big rain storm. There was a small issue, and I called and the owner was at my door within an hour. He took responsibility for the problem, no arguments, and made things right. Not many companies will do that these days. I was pleased with the job MHI had done to begin with, but this really sold me. I'll be hiring them again for a second job and probably more in the future. EDITED 2024: Major Home Improvements just finished their third job on my house. They were fast, reasonably priced, and left everything clean and in good shape.“

“As a new homeowner it is very intimidating to interact with contractors. Mike was so exceptional to deal with from the first phone-call to the final walk around. Not only did Mike take the time to explain how the job was going to be performed and what it would look like, he also made a sketch. The job performed was exactly what was discussed. From removing the rotted wood, framing with specific materials, flashing, spray foam, vinyl trim, caulking.....it was everything Mike said it would be. The job was done CLEAN and PROPERLY. The best part (which many of us can relate to when having work performed at our house) is when the job was completed, it looked like the crew wasn't even there. “We recently completed a full bathroom remodel with Ideal Kitchens and Bath. We also used them approx 10 years ago on a complete kitchen redo. As with that remodel and now the bathroom, time has not changed the way Ideal Kitchens and Bath performs their job. It all begins with the owner, Steve and continues from there with the Project Coordinator, Carol. The carpenters, Scott and Jesse, were equally outstanding and very respectful of our home. These two highly skilled carpenters were efficient, tidy, accomodating, and most of all very trustworthy. Any problem that we had they took care of immediately. Farnsworth Lumber in Shirley Ma is where we ordered these windows from and what brand of windows they recommend. “Very good construction company.They did a good job on home with a very reasonable price & fast! Can't go wrong & I'd hire them again,only minor gripe might be that there was still some bits of debree around [they cleaned up most of it though!] & some cigarrette butts on the ground & the driveway was blocked for awhile with their truck & equipment,but they were cool about moving truck so we could get out,but hey-no major sweat & not worth chipping a star off review,Nothing's perfect. Good people, family owned.Hire them,you won't be sorry!just tell them ''no butts about it''[lol!] in response to owner, don't bother looking into matter,that was a different crew from 7 years ago.No of the recent crew smoked & I'm really not sweating it at all.“
