I had to go to the Walkin with my sister. I could not believe we saw the nurse that actually saved our brothers life in the Carlson detox a few years ago! Bridget was there when he started having seizures.He never had them before. She was awesome! She called 911, stayed with him and took great care of him when EMS got there she was very clear about his situation. No one treated him with respect but her. The Mercy ER was trying to blow him off but she kept calling them and was strong and told them he needed more tests. I have fallen through the crack several times. They are very disorganized. The staff is very friendly and that's the only reason they're getting two stars. The doctor seem overwhelmed and are not able to truly look at a patient's past medical records. therefore, not able to give truly individualized care. Often find the after visit reports have misquoted what I've said and feel that I am not understood.
