We had a very bad experience with a local funeral director a couple of years back so when we had another death in the family recently, a close friend recommended I call Downing Cottage Chapel. I am so glad that I did. They are kind, caring, and compassionate and so down to earth and easy to talk to. I wouldn't use anyone else but Downing Cottage again. They made a difficult time so much easier and more bearable for us. Everything was perfect and the funeral went off without a hitch. I can't put into words how greatful I am to Dowling funeral home. They are truly the best in the business. I lost someone very close to me recently and after many conversations with different funeral homes someone recommended I call them. They made an extremely difficult time so much easier. They are the most kindhearted, compassionate, caring people. They went above and beyond for me. The services were beautiful and exactly what I wanted. They took time to listen and helped however they could. If your faced with the death of a loved one the stress of it is hard enough. They were like part of the family and grieved with me.
