Oak Knoll, a Whittier facility, lost my brother’s clothes in the laundry twice despite the fact that his name is written in it. They agreed to replace his clothes but that was nearly a year ago and despite lots of broken promises they have yet to do so. How unfair to do to someone on Medicaid.Shame on you!Update: This matter has been resolved as of today. My brother was paid for the clothes that were lost.
I understand healthcare because it's been my life's endeavor. Whittier's rehabilitation facility was selected for my restoration, of a complex fractured hip, because it was geographically located near my daughter's home. My preference would have been to be closer to my own home in Winchester. My daughter's choice, however, proved to be a God's send for my rehabilitation.Here is my testimonial: "It is not the physical structure of a healthcare facility that is the most important factor to be considered when dealing with people who are in immediate need of rehabilitation. Dr. Nauiris was not my favorite. I was left waiting for 20minutes in the room. He acts like what your going through is just whatever and turns it on himself like he’s dealing with the same thing. But he is not. He may need a knee replacement. But I need a knee replacement and hip replacement. All because of being hit and run over by a car. Injuries I’ve been dealing with for over 20 years. I’m in pain every day. And all I’m prescribed is an anti inflammatory. So yeah do not compare yourself to me. We are not the same case.
