Dr. McAdam and her team are absolutely top notch!! I have only been lucky enough to use her services once. When my mother's cat wasn't eating, we brought her to South Shore Animal Services as a second opinion after spending an extraordinary amount over multiple visits at another vet and coming to no resolution. Within minutes of the appointment, Dr. M identified a likely tumor in the cat's abdomen by touch (using her hands). Ive put dogs down at VCA and its like going into a steel box. yesterday was hard ( again ) but south shore shows you respect and kindness.. they allow you to hold your animal in a warm room on a couch and say goodbye.VCA is a steel table and they actually bring the credit card machine into the room." please swipe before we kill your dog" cold and ruthless place.. i recommend south shore animal services to everyone

This was my first time bringing my sweet kitty to the vet and i think i was more nervous than she was. But as soon as we walked through those doors i wasn’t nervous anymore. the two girls who were there were so kind to me and my pet. they walked me through every step, they made sure she was comfortable and even more so that i was. they assured me everything would be alright and helped me with filling out forms. they also didn’t break the bank which was lovely for me. i 1000% recommend South Shore and will definitely be returning should god forbid anything happen with my kitty.
