I relocated to Massachusetts from California and one of my biggest concerns (besides healthcare) was finding a hair stylist for me and my two daughters. I found Melissa from a Yelp search and have not looked back. She does my hair and my daughter's often. Our hair is healthy. Melissa is on-time and flexible. She is patient with my fidgety daughter. She is well-versed in healthy hair and natural products. I am so happy we found Melissa and if we could give her 100 stars we would.

Melissa, the owner, did a fantastic job on my hair. It's been a couple of years since I had my hair professionally styled. I have been on the hunt for a stylist in the area that can style natural, textured hair. My hair was in desperate need of color and cut. I decided to give Melissa a try based on a recommendation from a close friend. Melissa was friendly, on time and efficient. Prior to Melissa styling my hair, we discussed the condition of my hair, the best color and different styling options. I decided to go with flat twists and a twist out. I am pleased with the outcome. I already scheduled appointments to have Melissa braid my daughters hair. Melissa got skills!

I received a box braid crochet style with two rows of individual braids across the front. My hair was done in a timely manner and my hair was handled with care. Nothing was tight. Melissa checked on me to make sure everything was okay and asked if I needed anything. The hairstyle came out amazing. 40 minutes later, while at the store, I got a compliment on my hair and was able to give her an Origins of Hair Studio business card.Great service overall!
