I’ve been here for almost 3 years. There was something for everyone. What set this place apart is the FFIT program. Best value period. The classes are amazing, fantastic instructors, great members etc. They got rid of the childcare room and put a ridiculous IV “drip bar”, they kept cutting fully booked classes every week. They removed jump ropes, resistance bands because there were going missing from a room that has cameras. Equipment will be out of service for weeks. The men’s bathroom always has a sink that doesn’t work, tge self Flushing urinals never self flushed. Now, They are getting rid of the FFit program to “open up the floor” it’s literally turning into planet fitness or any other $10 month gym commercial gym. I must say the place is very clean compared to any other gym. It reeks of big business and and lacks upper management engagement.

I've been a member for years and I agree with the recent reviews. My review focuses on the mats in the women's gym. I have personally, survey and written requested that the mats be updated. They have one padded torn mat and two yoga mats. Not a big ask. But nothing changes.

Stopped at this gym on my way from Boston to NYC. Really spacious gym with a lot of equipment.
It was a push day for me - chest focused with shoulders and triceps in the rotation. It was a little crowded, mostly teenagers that lacked gym etiquette but as noted it is a spacious gym so not a big deal. Had to wait for a bench press because they don’t have too many. The ones they do have, make sure you identify the differences. One of them is very low set, so you might need a lift off if you are going heavy that day. I wasn’t ready for it being that low, so when I went to lay back for my warm up I actually hit my head on the bar. It hurt, but nothing too severe (luckily)… read full review
