Out of four roofers, I settled on Sousa and another well known company as the finalists. One guy gave me a price that was ridiculously low. That was a red flag so I threw his quote in the trash. The third was comparable in price with Sousa and the other, but the sales guy was not so friendly. Like I owed him for his time. Maybe because he saw me as an elder so he felt he could try to take advantage of me, not sure. First off Sousa wasn’t the cheapest and frankly about $800 more than the other roofing contractor. My husband and I couldn’t be more satisfied with Sousa Roofing. This past winter did a number on our roof that already had to be replaced. So we ventured off and received five quotes from what we feel are reputable roofing companies in the Bridgewater area. Sousa was the third highest. But my husband and I were impressed with the detailed proposal and the no games sales pitch like we received from other roofers. There was no you get this for this much, and if you get that it’s this much. Sousa’s proposal broke everything down with one total cost. You knew exactly what you were getting and for how much. I had a great experience with Sousa Roofing. The owner was very knowledgeable and easy going and the roofing crew was professional, showed up on time, kept everything clean, and did excellent work. The owner showed up throughout the day to check on the work. The roof looks great, the communication was outstanding, and the entire job was completed exactly as promised. I highly recommend them.
