This is a great school with supportive and knowledgeable instructors. I have improved physically and mentally since I started training here a year ago and changed in many other ways. The community of students is also very supportive. I love training here and can't imagine not training here anymore.
I started at Oom Yung Doe a little over two weeks ago. Since then I have seen dramatic and positive changes in almost every aspect of my life. Physically, the chronic illness I have been battling for 8 years has improved. I am stronger and more flexible, my balance is far better, and my reflexes are sharpened. My lifelong back pain has also almost entirely resolved— which is startling given that I have spent years working with physical therapists and chiropractors with no gains. The balanced, thoughtful, and personally tailored approach is something I have never seen elsewhere and makes Oom Yung Doe absolutely accessible to people of all ages and abilities. The instructors are knowledgeable and caring, and the space is beautiful.
OYD has helped me take control of my health. Im a brain cancer survivor. I had a broken back. Some surgeries. And plenty of sports injuries... I'm moving better now than I did in high school. We're very lucky a school like this is here in NE.
