I just had a 90-minute deep tissue massage with Marc at Spa L’eau on Martha’s Vineyard. I should note, I get massages frequently and at highly recommended and well known spas. THIS MASSAGE was quite literally the best massage I have ever had in my life. The pressure was absolutely perfect — firm enough to melt away every knot but never uncomfortable. I could feel my shoulders, upper back, mid-back, and lower back release in a way they never have before.

The spa thought of everything: they gave me noise-canceling earbuds with serene music so I could tune out the world, and the massage room itself was cozy and peaceful. Marc even worked on my neck and the front of my arms near my armpits — places no therapist has ever focused on — and it completely opened up my upper body. At one point he did something that even cleared my sinuses!
