“October 2024 update: Our water pump failed on a Saturday. They (Rick & Co.) were here in 2 hours and (for a bunch of reasons) went through a Herculean effort to successfully replace it. They are the best.

I don't know who these people are who wrote this one-star review two weeks ago (whereas my name is public), but we've been using these folks for 20 years and never had any experience that wasn't positive. Of course they are a little pricey -- hello, this is Martha's Vineyard, but they always get the job done.

The specific reason I'm posting today is that this is a holiday weekend, they are closed...and yet when I called in with a plumbing emergency, they got back to me in about 8 minutes. How cool is that? Mr. Smith talked me through the solution over the phone -- no charge.“

“they are pretty good, although i had a bad experience at the end. its difficult to find anyone reliable on vineyard. they couldnt figure out the leak from the shower up stairs, finally joe's plumbing fixed it no problem. emergency calls very expensive! but alas your on the vineyard. paradise.lol.“
