Came in for the first time for an eyebrow and bikini wax today, and Andie was AMAZING! She was so sweet and listened to exactly what I wanted, was communicative, and gentle. Such a gem 💛. Thanks Andie! Will definitely come back.

TL;DR: Great owner and reception, incompetent manicurist. (I thought you had to have a cosmetology license in MA to do manicures?) Booked haircut, glossing, mani-pedi. Started with the pedi; young and sweet manicurist held her tools really strangely, didn't even push back my cuticles let alone remove them, didn't buff the calluses on my big toes, failed to trim the nails on one foot so I didn't look symmetrical, and applied so much polish it puddled around my cuticles. I asked for the polish to be removed and clear applied, which she did. On to the manicure: she failed to trim one thumbnail so it didn't match the rest of my fingers, left ragged edges when filing (and held the file so loosely it painfully vibrated against my nail), kept forgetting what "oval" meant, and again with the strange way she held the cuticle nippers, somehow was able to give one of them a serrated edge. I actually took the nippers at that point and trimmed off the ragged parts myself. Never cleaned under my nails, but declared me finished. I asked to leave for a minute and quietly spoke to the very, very nice receptionist, told her it was the worst manicure I'd had in 40 years, asked what I owed, and said that given my experience so far I didn't feel comfortable trusting them with my hair and said I would be canceling those treatments. "I don't think you should have to pay anything for that manicure," she said, and discreetly called over the equally pleasant owner, who told me the "manicurist" was new and apologized to me. Unfortunate, because they are so nearby. Also, BLASTING music, if that's your thing.

Showed up for my 9:15am appointment (they open at 9am) and place was locked up with no signs of life. I get that life happens but would have been nice to get a call to let me know they couldn't do my appointment. I even received multiple confirmation messages leading up to the appointment. No one answered the phone when I called.

Mel did my bridal hair trial and hair for my Sept wedding and I could not have been happier with the result. During my trial, she recommended I grow out my bangs so she could braid them into my side braid better and I am so glad I did because I loved my hair on wedding day and I didnt have to deal with my bangs flying around like I did when I did the trial. Andi did the make up for myself, my MOH, MOB and MOG and everyone’s make up came out perfect! I was really worried about false eyelashes but she made them look so natural which is the look I was going for. She is also so funny and made our getting ready process so much fun and we all had a blast! Would 10/10 recommend for all your hair & makeup needs.

I've been seeing Andie for all my facials and waxing for years. She is exceptionally professional and knowledgable. I trust her completely to know exactly what my face needs whether it's moisture or exfoliant and she knows her products too! Highly recommend!

Andrea is absolutely amazing! She has removed scaring from my skin that was caused by other aestheticians as well as hyperpigmentation due to estrogen fluctuations. I can not say enough about her level of expertise in dealing with a variety of skin issues.

Mariah is an absolute GEM! I am new to Eastern Mass & am SO happy I found her to be my new reliable, knowledgeable hairdresser. I went from spending nearly $400 on my hair in Western mass to about $100-$150 & I am always completely satisfied. She takes her time & is careful to give the best experience possible. Highly recommend this salon, especially Mariah! <3
