It is an upscale, gourmet market like Whole Foods, but smaller, and independent. Yes, it is expensive, but the quality usually justifies the price. I shop here frequently because I like the wine selection, the bakery and the fish counter. I love the selection of local, craft cheeses. Yes, I did notice this summer that there were some issues with food spoilage, and the produce section in particular was disappointingly hit or miss. However, I have never had any issue with the staff and overall I really appreciate this market. I would love to see more locally sourced products, and it would be nice if they could be more prominently labeled as local.

Friendly staff! Great attention to all the little details. Love love love love the juice bar. We were on the cape for two weeks and probably stopped for a smoothie or juice every other day. They do it right with frozen fruit (not ice) and no added sugars. I tried most of them and they were all delicious. Banana Buzz with cold brew in the morning is our favorite! Well done team!!

More expensive than Whole Food's , so go only for the unique items not carried elsewhere. And they don't carry Dave's Killer Bread or ACME Smoked Whitefish Salad!! The worst overreach is $ 2.25 for a 5-pound bag of ice. The liquor store across the street charges $ 1.75 for 7 pounds. And we're experienced gourmet and specialty store shoppers.
