I grew up attending the CCC and have sent my own 6 and 8 year old there since they were 4. They absolutely love going and look forward to it all year. The openness of the program allows them freedom to explore any activities they want to participate in or invent their own. They love playing tennis, volunteering in the garden, doing gymnastics with their friends, creating art in the art shack, playing on the playground, and forming life-long friendships. The community is responsive and loving. The counselors return every year and most attended the camp as children. Many have become our regular babysitters. My children and their friends spend their summers becoming independent, outgoing, creative, and relaxed.... a well-deserved break after a long school year.
