“I can honestly say IV Garden saved my life. I’ve struggled with severely heavy periods my whole life and had been on birth control for 30 years. When my prescription ran out and the one I used was on backorder, I ended up bleeding heavily for over a month. My iron, ferritin, and hemoglobin tanked (ferritin 2, iron 13, hemoglobin 9), and it left me so weak I couldn’t eat, sleep, or function. It even caused swallowing issues so bad I lived on a liquid diet for six weeks. I went through a nightmare of seeing my primary care, two urgent cares, and two emergency departments in New Hampshire—no one would help me. I was brushed off, told “your levels aren’t that low” or “it’s in your head,” even though I felt like I was knocking on death’s door. Two hematologists refused to even see me. I was scared, exhausted, and hopeless—if it wasn’t for my husband during that time, I don’t know what I would have done. Finally, in June, I found IV Garden.
