After my mother had a very bad fall she was put in two different rehabs and UMass Hospital. Her experience with all of them was absolutely horrific. She ended up with a stage 4 wound for pressure. because nobody even checked her or bathed or rehab her. When I took her home the second day. I bathed her and found she had a four-stage pressure wound that nobody reported. Because they never bothered with her. But I got her to the wound clinic in Charlton. And being honest my opinion is they ALL was great with her.. She's 83 and no one cares about her except the wound clinic . I had gone to the same doctor for the past 35 years, until he retired. For the next 4 years I have been trying to find a doctor. Bouncing around and very unhappy. I found Dr. Belezos and he is amazing! He makes you feel comfortable and he cares! I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend him. You will not be sorry! He takes his time and is very very thorough!!!Ellen Stanikmas
I am my mothers primary care taker and today she had an appointment with Dr. Stan, an amazing physician and a very kind and compassionate man. My mother is disabled and uses a wheelchair so she requires special transportation. Today the service we use was running an hour late and because I go on the bus with her to get her on and off the bus, I was stuck there unable to get to my daughters school to pick her up on time unless something extraordinary happened. I was running requests on uber and lyft and no one was interested in my short ride home to get my car. I went in to tell the staff what I was going through and they all seemed like they were about to grab their keys or find some way to help me out however the manager Ewa appeared as if she were an angel and introduced herself. She was just getting done with her day and without hesitation said she would drive me to my house next to the main Harrington hospital in Southbridge so I could get my daughter and quickly return to Harrington Charlton to get my mom on the bus and home. This is the type of compassion you rarely see in the medical industry. THANK YOU EWA!
