Broken Tail cares so much for their rescues and truly work hard to find them loving homes! They are thorough in their application and put in the effort to get the process done in a timely manner so that these kitties can be with their forever families. Would definitely recommend checking them out if you're looking to adopt a cat. :) picture of my 10 year old rescue, Sheba.

I highly recommend Broken Tail! After months of trying to adopt a cat and applying at numerous shelters with no luck or no response, Broken tail was a relief. Cats were very well cared for. The experience was great and we could adopt a cat very quickly. The entire process took 2-3 days. Maura was extremely helpful and friendly. She was very sweet, kept me updated throughout the process, highly communicative, answered all my questions. I adopted Shona in October 2021 and she is a blessing in my life.

We had a great experience adopting our rescue dog from Broken Tail Rescue. We are experienced dog owners, and I do think it helped to know what to look for-and we read lots of articles about meeting a rescue dog and questions to ask, which anyone thinking of getting a dog should do. The foster mom we met was knowledgeable and kind-she let us spend almost three hours visiting and interacting with our dog and didn't pressure us to make a decision-in fact she encouraged us to take our time and reassured us that if things didn't work out, she would immediately take him back.
