Afonso and his team were absolutely the dream team. We brought them two of our beloved pieces, a table made of 250-year old teak from Indonesia and an art deco chest of drawers from Cambodia. Both pieces were badly damaged in a move with significant gouges and chips and were structurally unstable. Afonso and his team were very receptive and did an onsite inspection. After getting 3 quotes, we decided to go with them given their stellar reputation. We were not disappointed. The pieces were brilliantly restored and structure of these pieces are probably sounder now than they were when we purchased them. I have an antique pine armoire and a shaker-style oak desk that were damaged and I wasn’t sure they could be repaired. The fine people at Restorers came to my home and evaluated the pieces and gave me a fair price to restore them. They took them back to the workshop and have just returned them in absolutely beautiful condition. I am just thrilled with the quality of their skills and workmanship. I highly recommend their services!

Restorers Without Borders restored a mid-century Scandinavian teak table and a corner table, along with some repair work. The results are beautiful; they did an excellent job matching the shades on the two pieces as well as matching both of them to the chairs (which we chose not to refinish). They were a pleasure to work with. They seem very busy, so things definitely take a while (ours took about four months), and they are not cheap. But they do a fantastic job.
