The receptionist is also helpful in scheduling lessons quickly when needed. With their professional instruction, students have been able to pass their driving tests on the first try. Booked a lesson and test with prior driving experience. Marquerite was a gem, and an excellent instructor. The test was well coordinated and everyone involved had a positive demeanor!
I signed up for lessons as an adult trying to get myself familiar and comfortable with highway driving. I'd say some instructors were better than others, but I felt like it was good practice and that I learned something every lesson. I had the best instructor - Ervin. Ervin was really good at being patient, calm, professional and friendly, and took the time to explain rules of the road and why we'd want to do things a certain way. The school is overall professional, especially the person who does the scheduling on the phone. I got some helpful tips on my first lesson, but I found that it made me less confident in my driving skills because my instructor kept grabbing the wheel and using his foot petals instead of allowing me to do maneuvers on my own. I am an adult and have had quite a bit of practice so I thought that was unnecessary and even impeded my ability to know when I was maneuvering correctly (on parallel parking specifically).
