I have been working with Eli Thompson, Boston Posture Center, almost weekly for several months to decrease the impact of scoliosis which I developed as an adult. My posture has improved significantly during this time. He let me know in advance that his structural integration work will help me, but I also have to work at home in order to see change. He gives me exercises to do at home and welcomes questions about them.
Others said that my muscles could be strengthened but I should not expect change in alignment. Eli said I could expect some change. I still have scoliosis, but I feel better and my posture and alignment are much improved.

Frankly, I was skeptical about the whole thing. I'm a scientist and thought it would be "New Age-y." I was incredibly impressed by Eli's professionalism, by the way the treatment was tailored to address my individual needs (nothing "off-the-shelf, everybody gets this" about it), and by how clearly he explained what he was doing (and why) and what I needed to do between sessions. I was --and still am-- blown away by how much it helped me.
