Great haircuts for excellent prices! Only downside is they only take cash, which can be a minor inconvenience if you're like me who barely uses cash. But that's so minor an issue it doesn't detract from my recommendation at all.

I've been going to Alton for a year, after a couple of years going to a larger, more visible business. It's always been friendly and efficient. I phone before coming, and I've never had a wait. I'm not a connoisseur of barber shops; I'm writing the review particularly to alert readers to the fact that the Yelp reviews are all old. Val is currently the only barber working there. The negative reviews (and many of the positive ones as well) are not relevant to the current operation.

I love this place. I always go to Irina. After the first haircut, about three years ago, my wife does not let me go anywhere else. Irina is very busy but she would always accommodate. She works fast and is very professional. I really like what I see in the mirror after I go there. The haircut stays in shape longer. Highly recommended.Service: Haircut
