i highly don't recommend she literally cut almost a lot of my hair and a my hair is no longer long anymore because she got like almost all of it so it's a zero out of 10 I spent $60 on that bullshit

I got off of work at 5pm today however before I left I looked up “walk-in hair salons in Brockton”. This salon was 5th on the list. I arrived to the salon and asked if I could receive a wash and blow dry. There was a lady in the front and she said that they only take appointments so they could not take me. I seen 2 people getting services that were almost done so I asked her if I could wait until someone finished because this was the only time I was able to get my hair done. She continued to tell me no one could help me and I should just go somewhere else. Now the time is 5:15 or 5:20 and as it showed online the salon did not close until 7pm. I’m talking to my mother while all this is occurring and she asks to speak with the owner. The lady then explained that the owner will not be there until Monday and there was no one she could speak with about the matter. I sat down to order my Uber to the next salon and as I am ordering, I hear the stylist on the right side of the salon talking to the lady I spoke to. They are laughing and continuously looking over at me. I was doing everything in my power to remain calm and wait for my ride. The lady I originally spoke had disappeared for about 3 minutes to contact someone. When she returned she walked over to me and handed me a business card insisting that next time I can call and will be able to get my hair done. I politely decline because if your salon is posted as walk in friendly on google then there is no reason to refuse a customer more than a hour and a half before close. Another thing that bothered me was the lady who was so insistent to decline me wasn’t even a hairstylist. (that’s what she expressed to me) So when I arrived, instead of immediately refusing me she should have checked in with the actual hair stylist in the salon to attempt to squeeze me in. Interestingly enough, when I was leaving the salon to get in my Uber instead of aiding me with the door (because I had an electrical scooter that about 15lbs and it was raining) they decided to watch me struggle getting everything out the door. And if that wasn’t enough, she locked the salon door when I got the scooter in trunk of my Uber. This is now around 5:35 and the door was not locked when I went inside. So I’m not sure if this was racially motivated because I have a darker skin complexion or if the stylist just didn’t want to do my hair but as a person who is in customer service and works with people every day, I was very upset with how the staff treated me. It was very unprofessional and I personally will never put my money into a business or people who could just blatantly disrespect me. Absolute zero star review and moving forward if you guys are not walk in friendly, make sure that is in the completely advertised on all of your platforms.
