I scheduled an appointment for tune-up like a 3 weeks before and on the day of the appointment I received a call saying they can't come-in as they have no-AC calls. I was flexible enough but the timings they offered me were 12-2 PM on a Tuesday during which I will be at office so I requested them if they can push out to 1-3 or 2-4 PM so that I can drive back home, answer was 'NO'. The next option they gave is a month after and at one point she literally told me to call other companies! Bottom line is 1. They don't honor the appointments. 2. no-AC calls means more money we can easily guess where those no-AC calls will end-up, ripping off more money from the customers. 3. They do not have courtesy to be flexible when they are cancelling the appointment 4. Finally no professionalism at all.

Northern Comfort installed our first heating system when our house was new 32 years ago. they were always responsive and provided quick service when needed over the years. we used them again when the the first burner finally gave out about 7 years ago. the new heater just gave out last week and Northern Comfort showed up first thing the next morning. within 24 hours of discovering the problem we were good to go. this Sunday am, we woke up to a freezing house and within an hour on a Sunday, they were here and got it going again again. On Sunday Morning!!!! The tech was very experienced and identified something to keep watch on for the future. I feel very secure knowing they're there for me And I don't have to wonder when they'll call back or if they'll show up. Kudos to them!!!!

Absolutely outstanding service. We lost heat in the middle of the night, not only did they come an hour after we called, but they diagnosed the problem, called a supplier, got the part and fixed everything before 1 pm! They saved my christmas, kept my infant warm and heated my house again in less than 3 hours! Thank you Northern Comfort

This company is a step above I rate them a 10 out of 10. On Monday they came to my Condo in Taunton we were having the worst heat wave ever , they got my air-conditioner up and running with a new part for a reasonable cost . They were pleasant and easy to deal with I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you to Northern Comfort heating and air conditioning .

I had a mini split (with heat and AC) installed by Northern Comfort in my garage that was as hot as a sauna. I contacted them on a HOT Friday and they installed it on Wednesday!! Very good price and done quickly!The owner (Eric) was there along with Peter and Mike! All of them were very professional and got the job done quickly and efficiently! I highly recommend them!Great product (Daikin)?? Nice people!

Had a mini split installed in my house by Tom. He was very professional and had the installation done very quickly. He took the time to thoroughly explain the mini split to me and made sure he left my place spotless. The following month, I had an issue with my hot water heater while I was at work, I reached out to Tom that morning and within the hour he was at my house and was able to fix my water heater on the spot without charging me a dime. Contacted Northern Comfort last week about the lack of heat on my first floor. Pete came out that same day and diagnosed the problem. He left, ordered the part, and came back the very next day with Eric to install a new circulator on my boiler. Pete and Eric were timely, professional, and reasonably priced. I couldn’t recommend them enough & will continue to use Northern for any of my heating/AC needs.Service: Heating system maintenance

I do not normally write negative comments, however I am so disappointed about the customer service about this company and need to share my experience with others so you do not need to encounter the same issue.Back in Jun-2020, a technician from Norther Comfort Heating & Air Conditioning Contractors came in to check on our central-air, and confirmed that they worked fine for both the first and second floor. However, I noticed that no cool air came out on the 2nd floor, so I called the company for 2nd service in Jul-2020 which is within the same month, so the technician could fill in the R-22. First service was $230 and 2nd service was $300 (including the full $150 svc). Apparently, the technician who came in to do the 1st service was not able to test the air inside the house due to the pandemic, which I totally understand. However, I got charged for the full service due to the integrity of the service for the 2nd time which I disagreed with and needed to talk to the manager.I called multiple times since August in 2020, and called multiple times in April and May 2021, and so far have not heard back from someone who is in the position to help me to resolve the dispute. One of my conversations with the staff via my phone conversation was that “if you are not happy with our service, you could find someone else”. I think this is the customer service at this company.In the end, I might just pay for the full amount without talking to anyone in the company to express my frustration. However, I like to alert other customers so others do not need to go through the unpleasant experience.Services: A/C system maintenance
