Van is incredible. So fun to talk to and seems like a really big fish in a small pond in Boston. He’s been a barber to multiple celebrities in NY and opened a famous barber shop there before marrying a woman from Boston. I hope he never leaves!

Rio is one of the best in the area when it comes to haircut quality, education and overall experience. Great guy who helps you better understand your hair while providing input into the haircut itself. It's definitely on the pricier side, but after my first trip I couldn't go anywhere else.

This was my first visit after going to a hair salon for 7 years. I hadn't realized how important it was to go to a place that specialized in men's hair until I sat down with Rio and he walked me through all the ways my hair grows (or doesn't!) and gave me his thoughts on how best to cut and style. He was thoughtful and thorough; I left for the first time in years actually liking the way my hair looked. Plus he was just a chill guy to talk to. I like the vibe of the shop as well.
