Stumbled upon this classic barbershop while visiting from California. For $40, I got a top-notch haircut, beard trim, and razor finish. The old-school vibe is spot-on, and the conversation was refreshingly real. Hearing diverse opinions from actual people, not teleprompters, was a breath of fresh air in today's political climate. Great cut. Just a walk-in and I had no issues communicating and receiving the cut I was looking for. Surprisingly in my case most barbers? struggle with the various textures of my hair. This guy did a masterful job.Always a pleasure to stumble upon an old school black barbershop in this ever gentrifying city .
Bald fade hair cut recommended. I'm really picky. I needed to see him cut someone else first so i could see his work. And the owner ( I didn't get his name) nailed it for 25$. Then I tipped. Everywhere else nearby wanted 50$ plus tip. This is my new barber in Southie. His chair is all the way to the right but the other 2 are probably just as good.
