About The Massage School
Based on the reviews, The Massage School is a great place with excellent prices and very friendly students. The experience is considered a great massage spot for $40 plus tip, offering a great experience for the price. The setup is a little strange with all the tables in the same room, described as a dimmed open space with multiple massage beds, but once on the table, one completely forgets. This setup may give sketchy vibes to some, but the experience is far from sketchy. Check-in is easy, and payment is made before starting. A large sheet is provided for draping, and the student checks in during the massage. It is recommended to bring cash for a tip. The school has limited clinic days, only Wednesday, Friday, and Saturdays, and it is easy to call and leave a message for a preferred date and time. A pro tip is that upon opening the door, there are stairs immediately leading down. The only recommendation is to adjust the temperature to be slightly warmer. Overall, it is a great place to support a future professional and get an affordable massage.
Great place with excellent prices and very friendly students. Overall, very happy with my first massage with Ramel.
Only thing I would recommend is adjust the temperature to be slightly warmer.
Sketchy vibes are kind of my thing and to some this experience may be considered pretty sketchy getting all massaged up in a huge room with a bunch of other people.
This was actually far from sketchy or that could mean I’ve just been to a lot of sketchier things hahahaha.
I firmly believe in going to different schools for services like hair, skin, massage care…because hey why not support a future professional…they have to learn and practice and I don’t mind paying less!
It was easy to call and leave a message for my preferred date and time. I called in the morning and received a call back that afternoon (when there was clinic). There are...read full review
Great experience for the price of it!
Someone in my work posted a flyer for a 1-hr massage for $40. So I called to book an appointment. Chances are you'll have to leave a voice mail and they'll give you a call the same day. Its only Wednesday, Friday and Saturdays.
Once you get there, its like a lobby and the receptionist will give you towel and then the student missuses will grab you once they are ready. Note that this is a school so you don't get a private room. It's a dimmed open space with about 10+ massaging beds. You'll have the privacy of a changing room.
I would recommend this 100% if you're looking for affordable massages.
