We were vacationing in Boston. We saw Sue’s hair salon close to our Airbnb. One day it was raining all day, so I decided to get a haircut. I get nervous trying out a new place because I had bad experiences before. I was amazed how she knew which style will go well with my face and the haircut came out better than I expected. My husband loved my haircut too and told me it was the best cut I’ve ever had. Thank you Sue!

I had a great first experience at Sue’s Hair Salon! When I arrived for my appointment, there were a few small kids getting their hair cut, which ran over my scheduled time. Sue was very considerate and asked if I was okay with waiting. Since I had the flexibility, I didn’t mind, and she even gave me a discount for the delay, which was very thoughtful of her.
As for the haircut itself, it was quick, smooth, and exactly what I wanted. I love how my hair turned out!! no complaints at all! I would highly recommend Sue to anyone looking for a great haircut and a wonderful experience.

I'm tempted not to leave a review so this can remain a hidden gem, but what a disservice that would be to Sue!!! This was my first time getting my haircut here and it was by far the best cut I've gotten in Boston, especially considering the price (~$20 less than the going rate for a women's cut in the city). She was so friendly, chatty, and had a same day appointment when I called on a Tuesday morning. I told her just a little bit about what I wanted for my hair and she absolutely nailed it. The rapport I saw between her and the customer before me was lovely, and the waves she gave to a few customers who passed her window during my cut were heartwarming.... read full review
