I'm new to the loc journey! Booked an appointment with Tamika for a retwist.
She was punctual, professional and did an amazing job ?? The salon is clean, stylish, classy, and peaceful. No loud music, no line of people standing around waiting. There's also a small barbershop room inside of the salon where they do haircuts and eyebrows ? The salon is accessible via the red line to Ashmont station and then a 10 minute walk.

I have mid back length wavy white girl hair, and I was looking for a way to protect my hair and also get it out of the way when I do week long scuba diving trips. Noir Essence connected me with Fiona and I literally don’t want anyone else to ever touch my hair again.
She was helpful, patient, and suggested hair braiding styles that fit my personality and activity needs.
It was life changing for my scuba trips and I plan to come back any time I travel for more than a long weekend.
It was so nice to not think even a little bit about my hair while enjoying my vacation!

Went to see Blacks the barber for side cut great guy amazing service. I told him I been through 2 barbers and he was my 3rd one and I think I found my new barber because he did a great job. He also did my eyebrows later I'll be going back to get my eye brows tinted with him. Yes he does tinting and shapes eye brows... Thank you Blacks!! ?
