She's quite skillful and quick, but be mindful that her cancellation policy is very strict. If you miss your appointment for ANY reason, she'll charge for the amount equal to the service you request. I missed my appointment due to emergency at work, and was charged $350.
Can't be more happy with this salon. The staff was very professional, helpful, attentive and efficient. They answered all my questions over email very fast, and in person. They were very honest with the products I can use on my hair, in other salons they make u buy their products, this salon doesn't.
I got my bangs cut, trim and a Japanese straightening. They did all perfect. Also, they are so clean, they use clean towels with you, never use the same towel twice. They really give you a very high quality service.
Will come back again.
I spent my whole life unsatisfied with the cut, color, and frizziness of my hair. That changed when I started coming to Mie in 2015. I finally walked out of the salon with the look I had always imagined. Mie is polite, humble, and highly skilled. She is extremely attentive to detail and listens to your feedback during the service. At her suggestion, I started getting an air wave a few years ago. It transformed my routine. My hair dries in sleek curls with minimal effort - no more amorphous frizz. She also seems to be famous in the world of Japanese hair stylists. I once got my bangs trimmed in NYC and the owner asked me where I got my air wave done because, it looked beautiful. I told her I go to a salon in Boston and she interrupted - ohhh Mie! Yes, Mie. Because of this salon, I wake up in love with my hair. I really can't thank Mie enough.
