George is the man! Brought him two pairs of boots, one needing some stitching to repair a decent-sized hole in the side and another in pretty horrible shape needing new soles and lots of TLC all over. He did a great job with the stitching and worked miracles on the second pair. All for just $85! And he couldn't have been any friendlier. The world is running out of good cobblers and George is one of them.
I first sought out George’s services after I made the mistake of leaving a pair of nearly brand new Demonia winkle-pickers in a hot car, causing the front halves of both soles to detach and shrink. I wasn’t sure they could be repaired at all, but George was able to stretch and reattach the soles, and now they’re just like they were when they were new. Also, his prices are incredibly reasonable; I wanna say he charged me $15 for the repair? Don’t quote me on that exact figure but it definitely wasn’t more than $20. George is a king!!! I brought two dress shoes to be re-heeled and a pair of platforms that were so worn down that I wasn’t even sure if they could be repaired. Walked me through all the options, didn’t try to upsell me on things I didn’t need and told me which repairs he would recommend and why. Got it done promptly, called me right away to let me know I could pick them up. All for $80. 100% recommend.
