I have had three projects done by Godfrey Design-Build (enclosed front porch, full bathroom with separate stand up shower and new back porch which allowed space for a new half bath and laundry). Pat and his team listened to what I wanted and created ideas and plans which were exactly as I had envisioned them in my mind.

We hired Godfrey Design and Build in 2024 to work on a Master Bedroom addition to our home. For several years we have wanted to build a master bedroom following our first home improvement project (kitchen expansion) by another vendor. We had some challenges with that first vendor which made us hesitant to start another project. However, after meeting Pat the first time we could tell this would be a different experience. Godfrey Design & Build completely redesigned and restored part of our 1700's era home. They kept us updated on their progress and timeline, and completed the job exactly within the time quoted. They kept the work area very clean, and we had minimal disruption to our daily lives throughout the process.
We wanted to keep a lot of the original woodwork in the rooms, close off an old staircase creating a closet on the second floor landing, and to turn the old fireplaces into electric units.
