Training at Beverly Blue Wave Taekwondo for two years as a side hobby turned out to be one of the most empowering experiences of my life. The owner, Sabumnim Mike Anthony, is not only an 8th-degree black belt (one of only 16 in the entire U.S.), but also an incredible mentor and leader. His passion and excitement for teaching, especially with the kids, is truly inspiring.
Beyond the physical training, Sabumnim Anthony embodies Christian values and is there for his students through both their greatest achievements and toughest struggles. He lifts them up, motivates them, and instills discipline, confidence, and perseverance.
