I use a power wheelchair and my wife is my primary caregiver. My wife traveled to Puerto Rico for a needed vacation with her law school classmates. For the first time ever, employing a home care agency, I hired Assisting Hands Home Care to provide me with a caregiver, on each day my wife was away, to help me with daily living activities, driving me to appointments, light chores and meals. The caregivers assigned to me were excellent and the office staff were very responsive, especially the owner, Dave! I highly recommend Assisting Hands to everyone needing help or companionship. Assisting Hands did an OUTSTANDING job of helping us understand my mother-in-laws' Long Term Care (LTC) policy. They identified 2 additional benefits that will be super useful for us, we just didn't understand the language in the policy.
