I am an actress and I first met Sonja as a makeup artist for a commercial that we were both working on. I have worked with several makeup artists throughout my career, but within a matter of minutes I knew Sonja was superior. By lunchtime of that work day, I knew I wanted Sonja to do my makeup on my upcoming wedding day. We just clicked and she is such a skilled makeup artist. I booked her shortly after!

Sonja was amazing to work with and the make up she provided my entire wedding party was so beautiful. From the trial to the day of, everything went off without a hitch and all the gals that had their make up done not only had super pleasant experiences with Sonja but their make up was STUNNING. I’d definitely work with her again, and again! (We’ll let you know when my sister in law is ready for wedding makeup! ☺️)
I hired Sonja Gjokaj Makeup-Boston for makeup services for myself + my 8 bridesmaids on my wedding day about 14 months in advance. Sonja is incredibly talented, skilled and was a pleasure to work with. When it comes down to Sonja's makeup services, I would describe her as a perfectionist (in the best way). She cares about the quality of service being delivered, is organized, responsive to all communication and provides high quality makeup services using high quality makeup, including airbrushing.
