It's homey, quaint and full of kimd people! Quick response, emergency visits and VERY reasonable pricing! Took amazing care of my pup who has been having hip issues. They didn't force expensive procedures or nickle and dime me with unnecessary treatment! My cat had an emergency resulting in an urgent need for an ASAP appointment, they got me in 20 minutes after my frantic phone call. Got him evaluated, shaved, xrays, and stitches all within two hours of me dropping him off! Gave me an estimated cost beforehand and offered several options in case budgeting was an issue! My family has taken our cats and dogs to Hampshire Veterinary Hospital for nearly 30 years, and our pets always received compassionate and supremely competent care, first from Dr. Katz and now from Dr. Sansoucy.

Recently, I was visiting my parents’ house with my dog when she suffered an accident and needed to see a vet. Dr. Sansoucy and her staff made space for my dog even though she wasn’t a patient, helped her through a painful injury, and have been available for further questions even now that my dog and I are at home, 2+ hours away. Hampshire Vet goes above and beyond for animals and their caregivers—strongly recommend taking your pets here!

We had a toe bean emergency with our chihuahua on a Friday (a holiday too) and were scrambling to find a vet to see us, as a new patient, before the weekend. They were willing to squeak us in right away and took such good care of our boy. He is usually aggressive in these circumstances but everyone did such a fantastic job making him (and myself) comfortable and he had a very happy experience all things considered and he was at ease by the time we left. Quick, in and out in an hour with meds and a collar of shame, and about half the price I was expecting to pay for a new client/urgent/after hours visit.
