This place is a complete scam. The founder/CEO, Colin Ausfeld and his peons will lie to people in order to get them involved in a door-to-door sales scheme. Don't waste your time here.

Legacy Marketing of Boston is a highly professional marketing company. They go above and beyond to ensure client-vendor success in the B2B marketplace. They also offer hands-on entry level training in marketing, sales, public relations, and communications. Their Management-in-Training is one of the best programs for cross-training into executive management and consulting.

This is by far one of the worst interview processes that I have ever been through. It was all smoke and mirrors from the beginning. You start off by interviewing with Collin. The interview lasted a total of five minutes or so. I wasn't even allowed to ask him any questions. He specifically told me in the interview that any questions I have will be answered after lunchtime if I'm invited for a second interview. I thought that was odd, that I couldn't even find out if they had benefits or not. But I was too unaware at the time to notice that this was just one of the many tactics Legacy Marketing of Boston uses in order to keep up their facade and trick you into becoming an employee at their company. After meeting with Colin, you get invited back for a second interview. Upon introductions, I noticed that a lot of the candidates had either mastered English as a second or third language or they did not live even live in MA. One girl was from Canada, another from Florida, one boy drove from Maine, etc. They didn't seem like they cared what anyone's situation was. It was obvious at that point that they were desperate for employees. We split off into groups led by trainers of the company and myself and five other people were shuffled into a car. We were taken out to Framingham which made me uncomfortable because not only was I just given a vague and misleading description of what we were actually doing, but our trainers from the company were already showing their true, obnoxious colors. In respect for the trainer I will omit her name, but she over talked everyone for the entire car ride. You could see how annoyed everyone was getting with her just by the look on our faces yet she just kept. On. Talking. The minute we set foot in Framingham our trainers finally revealed what we would be doing should we take a position at Legacy Marketing: proceeding to shake down and bribe small Mom&Pop businesses into investing or upgrading their Verizon plans. We visited about 50 stores that day over an 8 hour period in 89 degree heat. My over-talking associate was very loud and pushy to these elderly mainly Portuguese business owners. She didn't make any sales that day and it was like watching a loud, intrusive car wreck repeatedly. The company claims that they expect a business casual attire but my associate was not only wearing open toed shoes and a see-through dress that left absolutely NOTHING up to the imagination, but she proceeded to chain smoke all day, curse, and even reveal her sexual orientation to me at one point without any provoking from me. She was very unprofessional yet had the nerve to tell me before the 3rd interview with Colin, to say that she was "highly professional." What a joke. Don't even get me started on the flawed business structure. The job is commissioned base and set up so that you make pennies until you're at Colin's level. It will require you to drive everywhere all day, rain or shine. I was offered a job after the second interview. Needles to say, h*ll no.
