This is a great branch of the Y. Everyone at all of the branches tends to be friendly and helpful, and the staff at this branch was no exception. In addition, the facilities are new, and there is a splash pad as well as an outdoor pool on site.

I use the weight and cardio machines at the Y five days a week but have never taken a class there or used the pool or the tennis courts. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and I love the bright, cheerful atmosphere inside the building. The high ceilings and clerestory windows, plus the open floor plan, give the facility an airy, spacious feeling. Another reviewer commented that the building is sometimes cold. That is true, probably because heated air tends to rise to the high ceiling. Most days you can see some patrons exercising in shorts while others are wearing full sweatsuits including hoods. So different people have different temperature preferences. It's easy to keep a sweatshirt in your gym bag.

The Americana Y is a little slice of health and wellness heaven for the whole family. The staff is warm and welcoming and the facility is very clean and offers a wide array of solo fitness experiences or group classes. Our kids beg to go to the Kid Zone and we are able to play tennis as a family and easily learn pickleball and play with other families. It's a little gem and fun haven for our town!
