Went to ER at 8pm with blood clots in right leg from mid thigh that ran across front of leg. Legs red, swollen, has fever in it. Had blood work done, ultra sound, CT scan. Was there from 8 pm to 1 am. Was never informed of lab results. And was told that I don't have blood clots and sent home. But following day I got lab results and test results that show blood clots and blood clot particles in the D-dimmer test. Results were 3.17 and that's high. Normal is suppose to be 0.50. Ultra sound showed clots in upper leg. Do not use this hospital. You will set up there for 5 hrs and receive no help. I gave two stars because of the two technicians that was very kind.
What an absolute great hospital, from all the staff that have treated my husband. Gave everything to make sure we were comfortable even though they know we are in pain. For anyone that says that Glenwood is questionable, I promise you the care we received from doctors, nurses, Aides, dietary, has been top notch. Thank you to each of them.
My first time being treated at Glenwood. Entire experience was very positive and professional. From check-in to triage nurse to ER doctor and ER nurse, all were friendly, caring and knowledgeable. I'm grateful. And blessed.
