I’m big on doing my homework and let me tell you I got an amazing little girl that exceeds my expectation . Teresa was amazing to work with . She’s an amazing breeder . In an online world full of scammers, Ms. Melton definitely is NOT one of them. I've had the pleasure of having five Chihuahuas in my life ( 2 of my own, my Mom has had 2, and my MIL had 1), but the baby I picked up from Teresa is by far the best natured of all of them. She is spunky, loving, calm when she needs to be, and took right to me on the car ride home. She has adjusted beautifully to our home and to my Mom's elderly Chihuahua. Teresa is firm on her prices, but she should be. She is breeding the finest quality Chihuahuas. She is breeding for the genetics of the dog, but also for the temperament. She also does quite a bit of training with the puppies before you get them. Pookie came paper trained and has transitioned nicely to the puppy pads. I have also had a couple of questions since Pookie has been home with me because it's been 16 years since I had a Chi pup, and she had been right there to answer every question. So she is there for you after the sale as well. The bottom line is this: you can feel confident buying from Teresa. You are going to pay a little more, but you are absolutely getting a real dog, from a quality breeder who is registered on the AKC website, who will be there for you before and after the sale.
