Dr. Hughes and his staff are nothing short of amazing. My family and I have been bringing our pups here for about 15 years now and we’ve never once had a bad experience. Unfortunately last week we had a terrible emergency visit with another vet (NOT at ellerbe road) that left our pup very ill, but the next day Dr. Hughes was able to see her. She was taken such good care of over the next few days and I will never be able to thank everyone up there enough. We feel so blessed by the entire staffs kindness and their care for our senior girl. I know without a doubt that everyone at Ellerbe Road Animal Hospital truly cares about pets AND people.

The doctors and staff at Ellerbe Road AnimalHospital are so sweet and kind. They have terrific expertise and don’t charge exorbitant prices to care for your pet. My mother recently had to put one of her dogs down and they treated her so well. It made a heart-wrenching experience so much easier to deal with.
