Apex Service Company did an excellent job fixing the electrical problems my fiancée was having with her two mini-split systems. Billy was the electrician who handled the work, and his craftsmanship and professionalism were outstanding.
I found Apex on Thumbtack, and even though it was after business hours, Billy called me back right away. We were out of state at the time, and he was extremely patient and flexible, working around my fiancée’s schedule to get the job done. He arrived on time, was friendly, informative, and communicated openly and honestly with me the entire time—even with me being in Maryland while he was on-site.
After his evaluation, Billy called me and walked me through the solution step by step. He explained how he would fix the problem properly, not just put a bandaid on it. We agreed on a price, and once the parts came in, he started the job two days later.
Billy and his assistant were respectful of the home and the space, and my fiancée never once felt uncomfortable while they were there. That peace of mind matters.
He installed a new sub-panel, added new breakers, ran new wiring to both mini-splits, installed clean, professional-looking conduit, and removed the old wiring. The finished work looks excellent—clean, organized, and done the right way.
Honestly, Billy did a better job than I would have done myself, and I do electrical, HVAC, plumbing, etc. on my own projects. The quality exceeded my expectations, and the pricing was more than fair. I would have charged double for the level of work he delivered, which is why I ended up giving him a tip.

Bought 2 new units from Apex 5 years ago. Very outgoing owner. 3 weeks ago had air conditioner repair. Paid owner $500 in cash to complete. Unit still will not cool and repeated calls and several text messages not returned nor answered. Had to pay another company to come fix problem. Will never use Apex again.

Our furnace had a gas leak, this company was scheduled thru my home warranty. Billy came out did the diagnostic and was determined that we needed a new furnace. Once they received the equipment from my warranty company, they came back and installed my new furnace. Very courteous and professional. They worked in a very timely manner and cleaned up behind themselves! Our out of pocket amount with him was much less than what the warranty company quoted. Heat works extremely well with no issues!

Will schedule and never show up. Called for weeks after until they magically answered. Rescheduled again, but they never showed up. Called the office and techs cell phone 100's of times with no answer. Office voicemail is always full so you cant leave a message. DO NOT use this company! We've been without our A/C for months.

Do not waste your time with this company. They are not very profesional. They will give you a service appointment and then they won't show up, and if you try to call them they won't answer. Good luck contacting anybody via phone because they don't answer phone calls most of the time. Meanwhile my AC isn't working and they could care less. ??
