I wrote a pretty damning review of this place a couple of years ago. I stopped using their services, even. Until, my mother’s dog needed to be put down. This was my mom’s favorite vet office and she swore by their care, so it was going to be done here.I saw why my mom loved their care when we brought poor Dot in for euthanasia. It’s never a comfy situation and I’m not a fan of pups dying away from their comfort zone. But, they made it as comfy and peaceful as possible and displayed a wonderful level of compassion. Dr Rob is one of the best Vets in Ascension/Baton Rouge area. His staff is super friendly & always willing to answer questions. All of the Veterinarians and Techs are very knowledgeable especially if you have a sick pet.

I took my dog to Ascension Animal Hospital for the first time today and I was very satisfied with the staff and Dr. Rob!!! He was very thorough and gentle with my dog and answered all of my questions. I'm very impressed and so grateful to have such an awesome staff taking care of my pup. Thank you!
