River City Roofing & Sheetmetal, INC.

River City Roofing & Sheetmetal, INC. is a licensed roofing contractor for commercial and residential roofs. The business has been in business for over 30 years and is locally owned and operated. It uses only the highest quality products for all jobs and offers the industry's highest labor warranty in the business: 5 years. The company goes above and beyond for all customers, doing the extra things that make a home better than before.

Customers report being extremely pleased with River City Roofing. One customer was referred by a friend and called; someone was sent out within a couple days to look at the roof, take measurements, and discuss a few changes needed. A few days later, the owner called with a price and discussed what was included. Next, the contract was brought out to sign along with roofing samples so the color could be chosen. The job superintendent, who has been with the company for more than 30 years, was at the house every minute the job was being done. One small area of rotten wood had to be replaced, but that did not slow them down, and it did not affect the price. The weather was perfect, so the crew worked long hours the first day and completed the job the second. The work crew was impressive, and not one nail or roofing tack was found since they left. The owners are pleasant and easy to work with. The job was not covered by insurance and had to be paid out of pocket, but the price was great.

Another customer came home to a limb falling through the roof. Back in 2016, the company had put on a Burn on Roofing, and the job looked great. The customer called River City Roofing to repair the new damage caused by the limb. Two men showed up within an hour. They checked the weather and put a temporary patch even though no rain was forecasted. As promised, they were back the next day with new roofing, fixed the plywood damage, and burned in 3 patched places within an hour and 15 minutes. The guys even put new tar and rubber around heater and vent pipes sticking through the roof. The customer described excellent workmanship, expedient service, and compassion and highly recommends them.

With recent heavy rains, another customer is glad not to be stressed out about leaks. A shoddy fly by night roofing company after hurricane Gustav did the roof. After that, for years, moving around buckets during heavy rainstorms at 2am was the norm, along with climbing on the roof constantly with tar. River City came out and helped a year before with no charge to put shingles back up. The customer never forgot that when finally needing a roof and having enough. They beat everyone's price and did a great job. It has been almost around 2 years so far with no issues. It is nice not to have to climb through the attic and look for leaks to protect the sheet rock. A roof is the life of a house.
