I was in Ponchatoula from out of town for storm work and needed a gym to lift at while I was here and after looking around it was a no brainer. Its an awesome mom and pop old school style lifting gym. If your a serious lifter and wanna enjoy using some old school machines, dumbells and plates you have to come here and it was all VERY WELL MAINTAINED! they also had a great cardio selection so they cater to anyone's needs. if you live in this area and aren't going here your crazy...... Cancel that membership at the corporate gym and support you local business!

I joined Thursday and Friday was my first official workout day. I am determined to tone and strengthen. There will be no photos posted until I can post noticeably different ones (before and after).

My new fam... love it here. Everyone's courteous and supportive of one another. Several have been encouraging and offered help when I need it which was pretty surprising. Even as a female who's a total amateur at weight training, I feel embraced rather than being "the girl over there trying to lift." The staff is laid back & friendly and they want to see you reaching your goals. They'll go out of their way to help you do so.
