About Spyre Center
Spyre Center in New Orleans offers a comprehensive range of holistic health and wellness services in a modern facility. It features various therapeutic healing modalities, from fitness and movement instruction in the "zone" to advanced healing amenities like an infrared sauna, hydrotherapy, a salt water lap pool, and a meditation room in the "soul center." The Well Cafe provides healthy dining options for both members and guests. While some areas could use improvement, such as a need for more towels and a more consistent restaurant schedule, the overall experience remains positive. Many visitors appreciate the welcoming atmosphere and the professional staff, who are attentive and knowledgeable about their services. The Saturday morning yoga classes with live music in the daylight studio have received praise, alongside the exceptional rogue yoga class. The facility is described as beautiful and tranquil, with numerous amenities, spa accommodations, and engaging weekly classes. The monthly soundbath is highly recommended and the pre-natal massage by Skye is noted to be best-in-class, leaving clients feeling lighter and relaxed. However, the locker room is small, and while the classes are well-received, some experiences like the dry float have received mixed reviews. Despite occasional noise from meetings outside, Spyre Center remains a great choice for anyone seeking quality services in New Orleans.
I haven’t experienced Spyre outside of the massages, but Skye is best-in-class for a pre-natal massage. Every time I walk out of my massage my body and soul feels 10 pounds lighter.
I’ve had other pre-natal massages and nothing compares to Skye. She takes the time before the appointment to talk about how you are feeling, how the pregnancy is going and then once the massage starts I am usually asleep and drooling.
Cannot recommend it enough, Skye is magical!
I did a hot vinyasa class and a dry float. The class was great! The place is so beautiful with a relaxing feel. The front desk staff are nice enough. The locker room is pretty small but served its purpose. But the dry float lol! Def not worth it! I left after a few minutes. If you’re old enough to have ever (tried to) sleep in a waterbed, well that’s how it is. I bottomed out while moving around a few times. The surface is the same hot sticky plastic. And the thing is so narrow that you have to tuck your arms close to your sides to avoid touching the hard seams. I had never heard of this thing before, and now I know why. Not good.
Love the classes, and the space is so beautiful, but sometimes employees (or owners?) sit outside having “meetings” and talk extremely loudly, making it hard to enjoy the space and/or get work done without headphones.
