Happy I found preen for my waxing needs. Of course going to a new waxer is stressful and being that I came on foot- my choices were limited with who I could go to, but Carly did not disappoint. preen has good but a low amount of reviews which made me skeptical to go, but it was a good decision. The building was easy enough to find and so was her suite. She unfortunately ran 20 mins late, but thankfully I had no where to be (I'm not going to knock off stars because she was apologetic & the wax was fantastic.) My first official yelp review, which shows how great I think Carly is. I just moved to New Orleans from NYC and finding someone to replace my go to for Brazilians (where I had been going faithfully for the last 6 years) was on the list of things I was worried about when making the move. I found Preen on yelp and couldn't be happier that I decided to try it out. The studio was bright and clean, with extremely sanitary waxing bed and tools. I loved that there was a fitted disposable sheet on the bed instead of the usual crinkly paper covering the same sheet that everyone sits on. I miss Carly so much!!! I went to her for all of my waxing needs at Molly's Wax Shop in Raleigh, NC. I saw her religiously from 2015 until she moved to Louisiana to have her own business ( I was and still is so happy for her!) Carly is really knowledgeable about esthetics, professional, personable, and thorough. She would always give me knowledge about skin care and tips so I can better take care of my own (A+!). No bruises, no irritation, she is quick, and I would recommend her to any lady seeking a pleasant (or as pleasant as waxing can get) waxing experience. 5 stars.
