This was my first time today.. I almost didn;t nmake it due to the parade and the trafic, but Pat stayed open and man am I glad he did. Excellent cut and great price! There is no reason to go anywhere else, this place is the best in NOLA.
Great old-fashioned barber shop with barber pole outside the door. Pat was amazing. He has been in this location for 47-yrs.
If you are looking for a stylist, this is not your place. If you are looking for a good men’s cut without all the craziness of a trip to a salon that has ruined men’s haircuts, this is your place.
He stays busy. So call for an appt.
The world needs more places like this. No-nonsense, proper barber shop, not a "men's salon." Pat O'Connell is a great conversationalist and has the hands of a surgeon. Cut my hair exactly as I asked for it and the shave was a luxurious experience. I had never had a barber shave before and it was exactly as I had always imagined. Relaxing, soothing, and left my face smooth as a baby's bum.
