I feel like after almost five years in this city I have finally found the place for pedicures. While I love to be pampered and all that, what I really need in the down and dirty south is someone who scrubs the hard work from my soles and the crud under my nails. It's not an easy task. It's not for the cowardly or timid. It requires confidence and open communication. This may sound dramatic, and yeah, I may be, but if I have my choice between hot stone fanciness and nice, smooth clean feet, well I will choose the latter.
